Who is Aneesh Kapil?

Aneesh Kapil is a former professional cricketer, ECB qualified cricket coach & CIMSPA qualified fitness trainer who has played for England U-19's, Worcestershire, Surrey & Sussex.

Equipped with over a decade of experience in professional cricket, Aneesh and his team aim to provide bespoke specialist cricket coaching & mentorship to dedicated fast bowlers and batters who have ambitions to become consistent match winners for their teams.

How would you describe yourself as a coach?

I believe one of my strengths as a coach stems from the unique and extensive experiences I’ve acquired throughout my playing career. The years I spent in professional cricket and also the years I spent outside of the professional system gave me a unique perspective into exactly what players need in there training to reach their goals. 

Do I need to be at a certain level to train with Aneesh Kapil?

The sessions I offer are suitable for all cricketers no matter the current ability level. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn is all that is required.

How would you describe your coaching style?

I perceive myself as a coach who embraces intensity, and I seek to instil a similar level of passion and energy in the players I work with. Whilst fostering a high energy environment, it is equally crucial for me to ensure that players find joy and fulfilment in every session. Striking the right balance between rigour and enjoyment is paramount as I believe that the fusion of these elements cultivates the most conducive learning environment.

How old do I have to be for the in person training programmes? 

I welcome players of all age groups.

Where are you based for in person coaching?

We are currently based in the United Kingdom. (London & West Midlands)
